For the fifth year in row Ciris Capital took part in Boot Düsseldorf.
The introduction at the show of the Italian Lease, a financial lease solution issued by the Italian government which can give significant VAT savings, offered by the daughter company Ciris Capital S.r.l. has been very well received.
The renewed stand image in line with the latest advertising campaign and corporate brochure attracted a lot a visitors. "The show resulted in an interesting list of existing and new yacht owners looking for the services of Ciris Capital, especially the German and Scandinavian Nationalities were strongly represented" says managing director Remco Immink.
The 2008 Düsseldorf International Boat Show closed on Sunday with a 2.2 per cent rise in visitor numbers. According to the show's organiser, around 279,000 people from 65 countries attended the nine-day event, which ran from January 19-27 across 17 halls at the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Center, compared to 273,000 in 2007. Of the 279,000 people in attendance, more than 50,000 people arrived from outside Germany, including a significant number of visitors from the Netherlands, Italy, France, the UK and Austria. An added boost came from North America, the South East Asian countries, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Two-thirds of those attending were interested in boats and yachts, followed by boat equipment, motors and technical accessories, water tourism offerings, boat and yacht charters as well as diving.
